In 1998, the fraternal organization of Beta Sigma Kappa was formed. Beta Sigma Kappa Fraternity,
Incorporated was established to accomplish several objectives.
The main objective of the organization is to help men develop their professional and leadership
skills. In acquiring these abilities, the Brotherhood believes that men can effectively work to
better themselves and their environment. The organization encourages education as a means to
accomplish this objective, as well as the dissemination of knowledge to others. In this manner,
the Brotherhood will continue to shape and assist future leaders. The organization exists to
promote African and Latino culture throughout society. The Brothers of Beta Sigma Kappa are able
to represent these cultures and understand how they are linked historically.
Although, these are the essential reasons for the existence of an Afro-Latino Fraternity, there
is a deeper mentality or knowledge behind this. This reasoning encompasses different ideas and
approaches. However, there is a common goal shared in the fraternity. This goal is the strengthening
of men, as well as their communities. The Brotherhood produces individuals that take strong ideas
and beliefs with them. These beliefs and ideas assist in the improvement of communities.
Beta Sigma Kappa Fraternity. Incorporated continually strives to upkeep its objectives and serve
as a positive force in society.
